The David E Whitmire Scholarship Fund

Instituted in the year 1999, the scholarship is provided to criminal justice students to honor David E. Whitmire. The funding association was created by the members of the Whitmire family. Students applying for this scholarship program must be a graduate or an undergraduate at a US accredited university. Students should possess a minimum of 3.5 GPA to apply for this scholarship. Candidates pursuing majors including criminal justice, criminology and police administration are eligible to receive the free college money awarded by this scholarship fund.
